Laura Garcia, Ph.D.
Professor Laura Garcia holds her Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame. She has taught at Georgetown University, Catholic University of America, Calvin College, and is currently a scholar in residence at Boston College where she offered courses in philosophy of religion, analytic philosophy, and contemporary metaphysics. She is the editor and introductory author of Truth, Life and Solidarity: The Impact of John Paul II on Philosophy (New York: Crossroads, 2010), and has publications with The National Catholic Bioethics Quarterly, Proceedings of the Theology Institute of Villanova University, and Southern Journal of Philosophy. Garcia is a member of American Philosophical Association, American Catholic Philosophical Association, Society of Christian Philosophers, Fellowship of Catholic Scholars, and University Faculty for Life.
